Mask/subtract/split/merge
If you’ve ever used Adobe illustrator something like that
We need a panel that allows us to merge, split or subtract shapes that collide with one another.
That way there are less visual collision disturbances.

There needs to be a difference between grab and hold
I am trying to make a game where a player holds onto a string to swing from string to string.
Current tools allow for events like "When player grabs" and "rotate object by", but I have already spent close to two days trying to combine various object settings and movement scripts to prevent a player from simply taking possession of the object instead of the object guiding the player through its rotation script. It seems all the available functions in Horizon only want the player to control the world and it is difficult to find ways for the world to…

Better documentation on the web to create worlds and I think there should be a way to design from the computer.

Gizmo for creating test user
Currently creators have no way to test scripts that make heavy use on of multiple players, triggers, and player variables. How this is done currently is by gather Testers so they can be present as the developer works through the issues.
The Idea:
Creation of a Gizmo to spawn a sample user. MVP can be a dummy user with access to Zone Triggers, Player Variables, and maybe a basic movement option. Basic movement can simply be "spawn and move 15 snap points".Long term I would love to see the ability to pre-record movements on the fake player for them…

2d mesh/ mesh optimizer
a mesh optimiser to improve the triangle count. would be also great to slice an area to cut the extras useless volumes (i'm thinking about tree roots underground which will never be seen).
also some 2d meshes/spline tool drawing would be also great to create background illusions of depth. if i make a mountain far away, i don't need a pyramid for that, and i would same some precious memory space ;)1 vote -
Voxel Matrix Object! (compare: Pixel Art, Minecraft, The Sandbox, Crossy Road)
It could be interesting to have a "voxel matrix" object, an array of colorful cubes that can be set by the creator, and maybe even be modified by scripts!
(yes, some users have scripted this using cube objects already, but that's complicated / expensive)It could be great for retro gaming worlds, but also handy for building very regular structures in any worlds, such as brick walls, fences and tiled floors.
(It could be a basic floor plan of a house, to be furnished with other objects)(my ultimate wish would be tesselated shapes besides just cubes! but that is…

Allow for Pattern/Texture overlay for the text gizmo text.
Allow for Pattern/Texture overlay for the text gizmo text. This would help create more options for designers to create unique text throughout their worlds.
Maybe they could be set as the H4,H5 & H6 styles not being used. Then you could publish a directory of all available text styles!

Object molding/blending tool
It would be awesome to have an objecting molding object as well as or a blending tool to prevent lines between objects and z-ripping! As well as would make it so much more efficient when creating overall and especially characters !

Analytics tracking
The ability to send custom events with parameters to a server (even if it's one managed by meta) to allow us to analyse script execution and player behaviours, would be incredibly useful for improving the design and accessibility of our worlds.

remove scrolling from 2D panel in build mode
building experience is amazing but it can be very cumbersome making certain changes. for example:
adjusting max distance on non-global sounds. like why do i need to scroll that little bit? can the content section of the window not be lengthened?
the new physics is awesome but to made adjustments the steps are
1 adjust physics setting
2 preview change
3 re-open panel
4 click physics tab
5 scroll down

Scriptable object state persistence in world file
In order to make useful 'build mode' assets that can be used to construct/manipulate things during world creation, a new codeblock that allows programmatic 'saving' of an objects state in the 'start world' state. At a minimum, this would persist all properties one could see in a property panel for an object into the saved state. Additionally, if the object is scripted, it should persist any variable settings, including object links and lists. Finally, if called on an object that was spawned in from an asset, it should 'unhook' the object from its spawning state, and make it a permanent…

Select objects at a distance based on what surface your pointing at
Right now it can become very hard to select objects using the bounding box when you have small objects partly embedded into large objects, being able to select based on a ray and what the ray is pointing at would help a lot. This would also allow creating vistas and manipulating objects at a distance easier.

Automatically show which event parameters are needed when sending an event
Let's say you've created an event with parameters, let's say an event called "pushObject" and it takes an object parameter and a number parameter.
Next, in any script, if you send an event and select "pushObject" from the dropdown (or you type it in yourself), that send event script block should automatically have the appropriate slots (in this case, one object parameter and one number parameter) so that you are forced to drag in objects of the correct type so that you guarantee the event will be "connected".

Gizmo to lower height when within trigger gizmo
Idea: I’d like a new gizmo similar to the chair orientation for teleporter movement. Or modify that existing one. What I’d like to do is add that to a chair or couch but not only to orient the player in the proper direction but to lower the player position. So when a player goes over a couch, chair, etc it would give the feeling of actually sitting down into it. Once you move off the area it would reorient you back to normal height. I can see many use case scenarios for crawling under things, hiding under a bed. This…
