It would be amazing if they added a toggle button in the world settings to allow creators to set their world as sharable! then a button on the published world page sso people could "make their own copy" -but only the worlds creators choose to be publicly shared of course. Also, the creator's profile could have an assets tab that shows all the assets they chose to share publicly! (assuming we're getting to add our own custom assets (that empty button space on my left remote -in edit mode- is looking realllly good for just that feature! "save group as asset")

Went through the recent release of the asset pack in build mode. This is a GREAT start and will only get better!
Here are 2 areas that would be beneficial tools in the asset pack:
1) Customized folder where our (my) own made assets and other assets can be
compiled and easy to use while creating2) Script based file system in the asset pack. For example: rotation, push, IK, FK, Sine wave, Perlin noise, object return, etc. A lot of time is spent writing and figuring out scripting – an asset file system with these premade scripts would go a very long way in further world building.

Would like to leverage the new asset features in the build menu for my own assets. So I would like to be able to select an entire asset and its associated scripts and save it to my own personal “Asset Library”, and then to be able to retrieve it through the build menu in other worlds that I edit/own.

I read the comments and i have nothing to add but stress how important it is for the rapid growth we need. I am sure this is on the list but we hope sooner.
I mean... Come on.. Give asset sharer better incentives to share, dont make us add a person names everytime someone wants to download an scripted elevator.

The ability to store our created items in an inventory that we can access from anywhere and drop an item in a world or gift /trade to other players.

Have some items like trees, doors basic items already made so that way the people who have a hard time with shapes can have some basic tools to create worlds.. I've seen someone completely quit a whole world because they couldnt make one tree!

Would be awesome to have assets that are locked in their group and can not be edited within that group. With this there is potential to have assets that can different version numbers as they get updated with new features. A user who has an asset is now able to update that asset.

Allow assests/imports to be transferred to other worlds by selecting them click send to whatever world you choose but has to be accepted by owner of the world receiving it. With capacity available of course.

Add an Open Source option in the world configuration like my picture in attachment.

Yes there is an importing to worlds option once you are put as a collaborator to that world but making it even easier somehow without having to import an entire world and worry about capacity and deleting everything, then I agree!

I think this is a great idea and examples of this type of system can be seen in other games such as Second Life.

Aside from the popular idea of an asset library, sharable assets, and having an asset be something distinct from a world...
One part of this could be a new tag for worlds that are all about assets. These worlds are different from other worlds in an important way, and as we build more and more asset worlds, they're likely to clutter up the list. With the addition of an "asset" tag, along with the ability to search/filter worlds by tag, we could find (or not find) asset worlds much more easily, depending on our needs.

We need an asset library and asset sharing capabilities, but how those assets will be allowed to be used is also important.
A creator should be able to set C/M/T rights to control how the assets they are sharing are utilized by users.
Copy- allow an item to be copied or not. This is most important in the case of monetization, but may be useful in other ways a such as a game where a user can win assets by clearing a certain level of a game. If a user wants more than one of an item the would need to win more than one copy of an item.
Modify- would let a creator to determine whether after sharing an asset with a user the user would be able to edit the asset. This would be useful if you wanted to create an art piece and then share it. You would want the art piece to remain in its same proportions, colors, textures, and sounds in order for it to be identifiable as your original art piece.
Transfer- this permission is also important for the sharing assets. If a creator develops a line of assets to distribute and then starts distributing them they may not want other users to also distribute their work. This would limit who was able to distribute the original asset. For example a creator releases a couch asset to user A and user B wanted the couch they would have to go to the creator and would not be able to get it from user A.

I think there should be a catalog of objects such as chairs, furniture, etc... and that these can be exchanged between users as a barter, I give you x object and I receive x object that interests me. Habbo chat style.

I know that the construction system is already there and it is quite good. But I think it's complicated for new users. That is why I think it would be good if there is a catalog of walls, floors, windows. as if it were a video game. a good example of construction could be the game Grounded.

Allow different ways of organizing assets such as by theme or holiday or topic area, and allow easy sorting/filtering of these assets for people to use in their worlds.
