  1. Custom content is incredibly important for all Horizon Worlds creators. When a brand has a logo to bring in, it has to be easier to import. For instance, Merc has redesigned several logos, bringing them to life in Horizon, unfortunately this requires a large number of objects . . . which can create lag.

    As a photographer and world traveler, I would love to create a studio to showcase some of my photography. But it goes far beyond this, Blue Wave should have had the ability to premier their Horizon Worlds movie in Horizon Worlds. Musicians should be allowed to…

  2. We need more simultaneous world editors, 4 is way too limiting.

    In the past couple years the maximum number of players in a world has grown from 8, to 12, then 20, and now 32. That is a 4x increase! But the number of simultaneous creators in build mode has stayed at 4.

    This number needs to immediately double, and in the long run I suggest it be tied to the world player capacity limit. Perhaps in the early stages it can even be an experimental feature or something you have to enable in the world settings.

  5. Can we get additional painting textures? For instance, there's a big need for a brick pattern, because layering objects to achieve such a texture costs capacity.

  6. Creator’s Personal / World Folders (Filing System)

    It would be beneficial for world builders to have personal folders as a filing system for their worlds. E.G. There are 10-20 mechanics that I have built along with 20+ tinkering worlds to learn the functionality of code blocks. When this is added to published, non published, worlds in progress, the navigation takes a long-time to find the right world (including the search option when used).   7. Some of us have created hundreds of worlds, and not all of them are published. Within our creation menu, we should be able to reorder and folder our creations to make them easier for us to find.

  8. Within the world settings, be able to flag a world as a template, meaning that people can duplicate your world without first having to be a collaborator.

  9. Currently, there are a preset list of materials. Sometimes, none of these materials works exactly right for an application. It would be great to allow a Custom material that let users set the friction, drag, bounciness, density, and angular drag.

    For instance, currently, there are NO materials with zero angular drag.

  11. The environment tool would benefit from having a user defined option. eg: Choosing the exact sky, horizon colours. Also, choosing the exact colour of fog. This could be enhanced further by giving more thought to how the skies can appear. Want stars? Want a Sun? Want lots of clouds/a few clouds/ no clouds? There's probably an elegant solution to these things, but at present, Horizon Worlds doesn't have it.

  13. If we were able to make a group of worlds that share player persistent variables, we could create richer, more engaging content for our visitors. This would allow for richer environments and longer story lines in games.

    Stats and insights would be calculated by adding up the stats for all of the "sub-worlds" or worlds in the group but would also be able to be reviewed on a world-by-world basis to see how players are progressing through a multi-world experience.

  14. I'd love to see a way for world creators to set what collaborators are able to do with the world. If the world creator could set the world to "Only Creator can import into other worlds" or "All collaborators can import into other worlds." That Could really help deter theft. I have had my work stolen before and it was because a collaborator simply imported the world into a blank one they created and just took what they wanted from what I had made. Collaborator permissions!!!

  15. Some primitives would benefit from having the option to halve and quarter when building eg: Half and quarter Hexagon or half semi circle. This would vastly expand the scope of what can be built using these sorts of objects without increasing the draw call. Currently, to make more complex shapes in Horizon Worlds, many primitives need to be carefully aligned then overlapped, which in turn makes a lot of wasted geometry hidden within a grouped object. If fractional increments of an object such as halves and quarters was a feature, then fewer objects would require overlapping, and some Z-buffering would…

One huge thing is there needs to be a SHORTER range for how close to a door you have to be before it "makes sound" ... the ability to set that range custom, and the ability to turn that off would be nice.... I'm making a world and it's unbelievable how FAR AWAY I have to put them just so I don't feel bombarded while exploring... I'm hearing multiple doors when I'm in another area, I tired making up and downstairs, and STILL way to close...

    It would be nice to move around that info box that pops up too,…

  20. Game modes seem to be largely focussed on shooting, which is fine, a lot of people like that. There's a fair amount of potential for games where objects such as coins, rings, orbs, eggs etc could also be implemented in a more platformer orientated framework. Avatars can run and jump, so why not add this type of game style into the mix? It would also be useful for world builders to leave objects which can be collected, such as visitor trophies.
