Bring Back Player Events with Hosting Rules
While the previous rollout of player events were abused by many that weren't even in their event at the time, we'd like to bring back player events that require a creator, host or moderators in the event at the time of the event start. If at least one is not available in the event at the event start and through the duration of the event, the event should not show on the event tab. This will cut down on abuse and will allow people with true events to still be able to host them.

Remove the 'poll to remove' feature on events with moderators
Frequently, when in a moderated event, some yahoo will start abusing the 'poll to remove' feature on random people. The popup dialogs are distracting and everyone knows what's going on so just clicks 'stay'. However, unlike normal world instances, these events have Hosts and Moderators, who have special moderation tools.
I would suggest that for moderated events, the 'poll to remove' feature is disabled, and the moderators use their extra features to just boot disruptive people from the world.

Events are missing??
Please bring back Events! I can't believe they were just eliminated -- they really are the only way for a creator to publicize a world.

New Category World Owner can assign to a Contributor
It would be great to have a new category to be able to assign to collaborators.
Being able to host an event in a world is a different tier than what an editor has rights to do, like duplicate world etc.
IMO it should be like Wordpress, but the categories would be: Tester, Event Organizer, Editor (not able to dup), Admin (able to dup), Owner.

Where are the Celebs?
I am writing in regards to meet and greet events that were advertised in your Horizon Worlds trailers. I was excited to attend these kind of events as your promotional ads had stated that we would have the opportunity to meet celebrities. However, I have attended several events visited plenty of worlds and have yet to come across any celebrities.

Maximizing Host Impact: Amplifying the Host's Voice throughout All Event Sessions
When attending an event, it is crucial for the hosts and moderators to have their voices heard across all sessions. Unfortunately, I have experienced instances where I arrived late or accidentally clicked out of the event and was placed in a session without any performers, leaving the audience confused and wondering where everyone was. It would greatly improve the user experience if there was a feature that allowed a voice to be broadcasted to all sessions. This feature has been utilized in other metaverses, even on older technologies such as the Quest

Allow for Event Categories for sorting upcoming events in the attend tab.
This could be helpful for both the internal HW team and the viewer trying to cycle through a huge list of upcoming events. I put together a list with input from the community, here is what my website uses:
Class Training or Workshop
Comedy
Concert or Performance
Conference / Summit
Dating
Dinner or Gala
Festival or Fair
Game or Competition
Grand Opening Celebration
Ladies Night
Meditation
Meeting or Networking Event
Party or Social Gathering
Recovery Meetings

Events Overhaul/Improvements
Events in Horizon Worlds are rapidly growing, but they are growing out of control. As someone who works in IT telecommunications and has had to manage and support corporate virtual events, there are numerous improvements to be made, including some oversights, listed below:
1) The Attend "tab" (is it still really a tab?) has recently become saturated with events - events where the creator is not present 90% of the time, events that last for days, even weeks - that are nothing more than Exhibits and should be classified as such when the creator/host/cohost is not present.
2) The Attend…

Private worlds locked by password. No invite needed to enter
It is currently difficult to host private events at a world since there a lot of management and difficulties revolved around inviting friends into the world. It would be much easier if you could generate a password and share it with a group so that they can enter into your private instance of a world. This will make it easier to host private events.

Host & build simultaneously
I love building worlds and showing people around, but I have limited time and can only be in one place at once.
It'd be really great to instantly switch between build mode and one live world. That way I can appear as live in my latest/favorite world without having to switch between build mode and the live world.

Merge / Connect a Facebook Event with a Horizon Event
I have an event this week, I've made a Horizon Event, but also a Facebook Event - to either remind people to log in to Horizon at the specific time, or to watch a livestream, if we were doing that, and they didn't have a headset.
It would be nice to be able to connect, or merge, these two types of events!
(Current side note: Also, as I was promoting my event on Facebook, with 5 posts in only relevant groups, not the group moderators but the AI flagged it as spam 3 times! I appealed it, which apparently went…

event length limits and reporting
For the last week and a half the top event on my Attend tab is a ********** with copyrighted music with a lot of profanity and its tagged like it is a competition entry.
This is causing actual events to be moved further down the page so they are missed.
Is there a reason that an event should be longer then then a few hours? And should it show at the top for 2 weeks straight?
Also if a world breaks TOS we should have a way to report the event.7 votes -
Build Jams instead of Game/World Jam
You asked us over Facebook to bring new ideas for competitions.
For the next one, or later ones, it could be fun to compete over a creation of a bench of art assets or script mechanics pack within a specific theme.
Creators should share the world as editable and people could just use this world to get the specific assets or scripts they want.
So it could add loads of new stuff for creators to use inside their own games :)

Notifications of Feedback and Posts
Whenever somebody posts a comment/picture/whatever on one of my world's pages, which I then need to approve, I have no idea a post has come in unless I visit my world's published page. Having to make the rounds like this becomes burdensome when you have more than 2 published worlds.
Can we have a way to opt-in to emailed and/or in-Horizon notifications when these come in?

Event Hosts should be able to "Reset World" as a menu option
Sometimes unexpected guests can get items mixed up in a World, and Kicking them won't fix it. (Currently, a "reset world" button can be built using a Script, but not every host will know how to do that.)

Can There be an "End Event Option"?
Currently there are not any "best practices" that have been developed for people wanting to add events. I think one that should be added when you create an event:
A "host, co-host or moderator" must be present in order to be a LIVE event in the attend tab.
Right now, the only way to end an event while it is going on, is to delete it. In doing so, you lose that the event was ever live, descriptions for the event and attendee list. For us, that was the better option than having an event without a host - which…
