Visit 2.0 Bugs

We’re continuing to investigate and fix worlds that may have been affected by our recent Visit 2.0 rollout. In an effort to address these issues faster, please make sure to file any bugs that you believe are caused by this rollout in this new UserVoice thread we started specifically for 2.0 issues. 

Please make sure to include the world name and the behavior/issue you are observing.

We'll post here, on Facebook, and Discord when there are updates.

  1. I am stuck on the “Entering Horizon” loading screen and am not able to access Horizon at all. I just got the Oculus quest 2 to play horizon. please help!!!

  2. In edit mode the world is working perfectly. Once published the scripted parts of the world is frozen. Items to grab can’t be grabbed. Music is delayed when playing. After 30 seconds the world freezes. When you wait 30 more second movement lags and is behind. When people show up to the world they are invisible as well. This is happened to other creators as well. Please fix

  4. World name: Maple Makers
    Issue: When the bottle object collides with the syrup object, it does not trigger the event. It works fine in build mode, but not in the public world.

  6. I found this new bug related to VISIT 2.0 update: In published mode ONLY when attaching an object to a player, the velocity of that object does not change it stays at x:0,y:0,z:0 if we detach the object then it returns the correct value. If you are in Edit mode this problem is not present.

  7. Similar to the arena clash issue, Levels are constantly being reset in PURGED. The leaderboard is not updating at this time however it is showing, 358 where my in world level is showing 0 or 1. just about each time i enter the world. This is not just for me this is for all majority of visitors. images attached showing level 360 ( build mode ) level 1 published mode

  8. This is concerning my world "The Lab". In Edit mode Everything works just fine but, in published mode things are flying all over the place but specifically the slider assets fly around and the physics ball stops in place and will not continue to roll.

  9. Weighted assets broken, and spawned assets don't delete. Plus Horizon 2.0 is unstable and causes multiple crashes.

    My popmjam competition world DanBlast's Dungeon Quest which depended on the using the required assets ran into the broken weighted asset bug a few hours before the deadline. I had to then create different weapons as an alternative negatively impacting gameplay on a world I worked on for two months. In addition with all the panicked last minute efforts to fix my not working world I had to go back in shortly after the deadline to toggle one asset on and I hope…

  11. I am have a terrible time. It started with the update before this last one. My hands were fine right before the update I mean absolutely fine. After the update they started drifting a little bit every now and then but I thought it was me but then I got an update today and when I log back into the game I'm literally sliding across the floor. I try to go into edit mode and sometimes it won't let me go into edit mode at all. I tried to click on my snap tool and it goes clickety clack clack…

  12. My world Crystal Mountain Rescue (#POPMJam) is struggling after this last update.

    i) breakables won’t break at all.

    ii) audio issues. Recorded audio won’t play upon entering the world. Other audio will sometimes play but sometimes won’t.

    iii) animated objects will automatically respawn you to the last spawn point. If you pay close attention, when someone jumps on the animated object, it looks like they are blasted down and back up in the fraction of a second. You can see their gamer tag box flash below where their feet are.

  13. I use dynamic spawning in Shard’s World. I made a clone of that world (it’s named “Test mesh asset spawning-Cave --Shards”) to test dynamic spawning in the lower cave. I have a pond with mesh boulders and plant life. I made an asset of everything except the crystal island area and added a trigger to dynamically spawn that asset in when people enter that part of the cave. The mesh plant life in the asset won’t dynamically with the rest of the objects, in publish mode only. They spawn in just fine in the preview mode when I’m in the…

  15. I created the world 11:11 for popjam and the particle effects changed into completely different ones in the published version. Also, there was no issues with the golf asset and now that its published the ball rolls away.

  16. Game does not work after world reset event.

    Following game issues:

    Weapon unable to be grabbed at times

    Seeker head pushes people around and turns collidable

    People Instantly eliminated when trying to escape the cell with lock pick

    All dynamic lights ungrouped and remain static

    Game list does not remove players so game may not end

    Game may randomly end

  17. when people try to grab the clubs and act all crazy and it let go of their hand and then you are unable to re-grab them again until you reset the world multiple times! show in video Please help META GOLF is struggling to keep players in the world because of this glitch
